You can view options exchange summaries, the largest option trades that printed, most active option underliers, and unusual option volume in the Option Sector Viewer:

 

 

 

Investigate any sector in the Option Sector Viewer by double clicking on the Sector record (in the grid) or choosing the Sector from the list box. Option trade information can be broken down and summarized by underlier, expiration date, puts/calls, and strike:

Export grid data to a file, clipboard, or Microsoft Excel from the Quote Grid, Order Grid, Position Grid, Wave Grid, Basket Trader, Equity Time and Sales, and the Option Sector Viewer:

1. Highlight grid data to be exported:

 

 

2. Select Export Grid Data from the app's Action menu. Choose the export destination:

Launch buttons can be added to grids via the Insert Column command or Field Chooser window. A launch button, when pressed, opens the WTP app to which the button is defined.

 

Select from managed orders, option time and sales, and crossing/staged/order tickets. A column featuring the launch button will be added to your grid:

 

 

  

 

Select a launch button and the result is a column featuring that button (in this case the Spread Trader managed order).

 

 

For order summaries highlight selected orders in order grid and select show order summary:

 

 

 

Users can see summary totals of a group of orders by multi-selecting several orders (select the first order, then <ctrl> click on the next order, etc.) and then selecting the "Show Order Summary" icon from the Order Grid menu or right-clicking on the Order Grid and choosing "Show Order Summary." An Order Summary window will display the aggregate quantity traded, average price, total dollar value traded of the selected orders.

The Show Montage Filters window in Option Quote Cube allows for the display of selected contract and expiration types

User Permissions Viewer displays user permissions. Note the User Permissions Viewer cannot be used to edit permissions.

 

 

 

 

A user's trade limits can be monitored by viewing the "Trade Limit: % Value" and "Trade Limit: % Shares" columns in the Position Grid. The higher the percentage, the closer the user is to reaching their trading limits.

 

To add the "Trade Limit: % Value" and "Trade Limit: % Shares" columns, use the Field Chooser.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Expression Fields for Custom Calculations

 

An expression is a formula that uses grid field values for calculations.

 

The expression can be simple:

• Ask -  Bid (used to calculate spreads)

Or complex:

• Last > Mid ? Price - Last: Price - Mid (used to conditionally calculate Edge to Last or Edge to Mid)

 

 

 

 

 

These formulas can be added as User Defined Fields (also known as Expression or Calculated Fields). Similar to the cells in an Excel spreadsheet, functions can be created for columns that yield a text or mathematical result.

 

Expressions can also be used in conjunction with Conditions to create alerts, color conditions, and filters.
